  The Heat and Power Challenge
There are now a number of targets relating to the reduction of lifecycle carbon in the provision of energy within buildings.

These are difficult and expensive to achieve with traditional construction methods.  Even some methods of renewable energy, such as wind, solar and geothermal, can present significant challenges in offering best value solutions for carbon reduction.

The Heat and Power Solution
Convert2Green and partner company Green2Go, offer bio-fuel driven electrical generation, combined heat and power (CHP) and heating systems.

It is proposed that these power systems, creating on-site renewable energy, will be rated at zero carbon for the purposes of calculating Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC).

In addition, the heat and power systems offer our partners:
A reduction in carbon footprint of up to 80-90%.
A fixed price for fuel and power for 5-7 years.
Recycling of waste vegetable oil for heat and power needs.
Excess electricity generated to the local grid as sustainable electricity.
The power systems are simple and easy to install, taking 8-10 weeks from assessment to installation, and can be utilised in new builds or as retro-fits to existing buildings.

The systems include full mains electric back up, warranties, maintenance and 24 hour breakdown cover.
Convert2Green carry out full assessments of carbon emissions pre and post installation for the purposes of certification. These certificates provide the evidence for legal and regulatory requirements and can be of benefit for building regulation applications due to the use of low/zero carbon technology.
