Scania is a leading manufacturer of heavy trucks, buses, coaches and engines for industrial and marine applications and a major supplier to British industry.
Convert2Green has worked in partnership with Scania for a number of years to establish the most effective performance of different bio-fuels in Convert2Green combined heat and power systems, which are driven by Scania engines.
Convert2Green and Scania have also studied the effect of biodiesel mixes for road transport vehicle fleets including: the miles per gallon of different biodiesel mixes; the most efficient biodiesel mix; and service regimes.
In conjunction with 3663, this has allowed a Scania fleet to run a B30 mix with no resultant changes in servicing regime.
Scania are happy to warranty their engines to a B100 mix should that be required. |
